"I was so nervous to switch psychiatrists after having one in Texas who I felt understood my traumatic brain injury and how it related to psych and had me on a great treatment plan. I was concerned maybe this establishment in MD wouldn’t respect my existing plan or understand me. You know how it is…making up anxieties and thinking a new place won’t help you like another one did.

I was wrong, and I had no reason to be nervous. And I would feel comfortable suggesting this place to anyone, including those with TBIs who are trying to and able to live independently and need psychiatric assistance.

During my first appointment at APC I was overwhelmed at check in and the staff went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable. Please note, they did not have to do this. I was the problem lol. But they never made me feel like a burden, and my overwhelmed feelings subsided within minutes.

The physician who saw me was 10/10 exactly what you’d hope for in a psychiatric provider. Whole staff was wonderful. Recommended some support groups for me, too.

"I had a recent visit at my doctors office, When I arrived I was greeted with respect and within less than 10 minutes I was seen by my doctor. I love that service fast and efficient. All the staff are compassionate and caring. Dr. Balavak is the best. I highly recommend him if anyone is in need of a professional, listener, and we'll mannered doctor who cares about the Well being of his patients. I rate him a 100% indefinitely."
